My patience has paid off! I was getting worried that tomes would never go up!
The last two days I have sold about 1,337,267 Tomes (dat number) for roughly 412,000,000 gold after tax. That is about 308 gold a piece. They were bought for about 100 gold a piece. That is over 300% profit! Subtracting the original cost of the tomes I arrive at 278,000,000 gold profit. The moral of the story, buy things when they are rock bottom and WAIT! I don't store things on characters I store them in the AH, you just keep them in the completed tab, they took up about 15 of 50 spaces there. |

Also you can store them on different currencies of AH. ;)
For those that don't know this, if you have access to the RMAH you can switch currencies and get another 50 slots to store stuff. I put tomes there too but eventually used them for gem crafting. :/ |

They may go higher, but I am happy with the price at 300. This massive price increase was caused by speculation about its value increasing so I took the opportunity to sell because these things are usually short lived. The same thing happened with brimstone a while back but I held out expecting a higher increase, this turned out to be a huge mistake after they plummeted.
