If that includes Witch Doctor pets, that's really big news. The fact that it isn't big news means it hopefully doesn't apply to pets. It would stink to die while running away, because your templar jabbed a reflect monster when you were at 500 HP running for your life.

Unfortunately, I think it does. I play a monk, and my mystic ally reflects damage back onto me. (It's easy to tell because of the continual damage the air ally does). At least, this was before the patch. Maybe they fixed the pet part already.

@Anuiran nice :)
do you also have low level plans for Legendaries/Set like Cain's Honor?

No I made the mistake of not getting low level plans while they were cheap :( Although I am not sure Cain's Honor will be worth it for Paragon leveling as you would lose a ton of DPS/survivability.

I meant it for low-level characters (20 or so), the sets don't look so bad for normal levelling of new characters.
Paragon levelling only kicks in once you're level 60 and there I'd want maximum DPS, some MF and a red gem on my helm.

@Venoom it's a super useful set for leveling an alt for sure. For Paragon leveling I wanna pick up one of these bad boys. A chance for 30% extra exp and not a gigantic DPS loss? Me want.

So what are the predictions for server conditions post-patch? There's a ton of excitement so they'll see a crush of players, but I can't believe it will be as many as release day. Blizzard also has the release day experience to go by so they should pretty much know what to expect.

Financially, it doesn't make sense for them to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars to have upgraded whatever equipment they have for 36 hours of heavy play which will taper off over a few days. Do you think they can handle the player load?

@ecocd I assume there will be no issues with the volume of traffic as most of those problems have been sorted out since launch but that does not mean something could go wrong with the patch. I see three options:

(1) Maintenance gets pushed back a few more hours

(2) Maintenance finishes on time and logging in for the first 30 minutes may be slow due to queues.

(3) Everything is fine

I am not adding the option of servers being broken... as I am hoping that does not happen.

As soon as i can login im going straight to act2/ancient path for a chance on goblin, i'm certain there's a few thousand other people planning on the same thing.

That's a great point. Do you think these will be enough to have some goldbots switch to Normal runs just to find these? They're going to be so rare could they max out the RMAH early on?

On an unrelated note, with the Auction House change Gold is finally floating since they made it 1,000,000 Gold increments min $0.25, the white market price can now float all the way down to 4,000,000 Gold / $1 which should cover them for years. The current white market exchange rate is 725,000-740,000 Gold / $1 (= $1.37 / million Gold) based on average Gem prices. Those that like to dabble in the RMAH can look for an opportunity there in the first minute of the Auction House going up.

I'm trying a typical Festering/Cemetary/Butcher run to see if anything interesting drops in the mobs.

My favorite goblin was removed.

The treasure goblin spawn has been removed from the Road to Alcarnus

When I was first gearing up I would do the Ancient Path and Road to Alcarnus goblin in the same run.

Hmm, i wonder if they removed the ancient path one too then even though its not mentioned. It would make sense, i've had insanely good drops from it running at 250MF without NV, started my first attempts 2 days ago and yielded some great items (including a Legendary on the 3rd run)

I think Socketed helmets + crit chance are going to be going for a good penny right now

My Act 2 run usually started at Road to Alcarnus for the chance at a Goblin and a guaranteed elite mob over in Alcarnus to pump my NV immediately. Still probably worth it for the Elite mob, but the Goblin will be missed. RIP Alcarnus Treasure Goblin.

Those were always going for a lot since the socket was good for Amethsyt or Topaz. I'm glad to already have my crappy +6% crit chance socketed helm already.

I wonder why they removed it, we love treasure goblins, especially when you fin them between two elite packs in act 3

Of course prior to all that, I'm crafting a few things just to see what pops out from Hallowed Armaments, Demon's Carapice, etc.

@Khan same here as I am thinking about switching to dual wield on my monk I will craft a couple Hallowed weapons as I feel they could be pretty cool.

Because they want you to farm forever to get that ring that spawns goblins, just an idea... more likely because people would farm the hell out of that goblin

@anuiran Hopefully they'll get a good buff. The in game animation for them is really neat also. Maybe they'll get one of those cool angel infantry call downs...
