While my search for the glibbering gemstone and liquid rainbow continues, i must ask a question.
Does difficulty effect the spawn rate of the mysterious cave or the caverns of frost? I've been running it on nightmare because i have a WD that I've been leveling, but if its more likely to run on a certain difficulty, ill run it on that one. |

@Buzzell if i remember right, i got all of my materials on normal mode, just because it was easier to run through and ignore mobs and check if it was there

just keep recreating the game till it spawns.
it could take up to 8 or 10 turns. |

The gibbering gemstone took me at least 30 runs to finally get that stupid purple freak to spawn that dropped it, so just keep on trying, as boring as it is. I did all on Normal even though i had a level 60 char at the time, just made it easier

I did them all in normal and got everything on the 1st or 2nd try.
I've only used the staff maybe 3-4 times though :( |

Did it in normal mode. The gemstone alone took me over 4 hours to get. It was not fun.

I got the cavern of frost item from the first try. To be honest, I wasn't even trying (wasn't aware of it at that time), just got very lucky.
the other items, I had to retry more than once. |

Yeah, you just gotta keep going, it took my 40-50 times of recreating the game before i got the stone.
