After doing a number of Recipe Runs in the PTR, I think the fastest runs are Ghom and Cydaea/Rakanoth (c/r). Run Skycrown battlements for 5 stacks NV and portal down to poor old Ghom. You can even stretch it into an XP run by clearing out Depths 2 after that.

The other option is c/r. Since NV carries over acts, you can gather 5 stacks before Cydaea, waste Azmodan and then skip every pack until you find Rakanoth, because the path to him on Act IV is always identical.

I think Ghom is the faster per Recipe, but c/r is going to be better overall since you get better items with the Core of Arreat Elites and Azmodan himself.

I haven't tried Skeleton King/Spider Queen yet, but the Spider Queen's den can be a real pain to search so it can't be faster than c/r.

There will probably be a huge rush and then a gradual decline in value for recipes right after 1.0.7 goes live so sped will be of the essence in the first few hours. You'll be able to buy them back at 25% the cost a few days later.

Yeah, i looked at the identified bosses and came to the same conclusion.

Since ghom has a waypoint right by him he's gonna burn.
But serves him right for being the toughest mob in earlier patches.
