@gabhh
Those prices look pretty close to what I'd expect. Good work! There's actually a price break at about the 8 lvls reduced mark where things start going up in price more. I have a 1h sword that has lvl required reduced 15, has 355 dps or so, and about 100 dex and a socket. I priced it at 4m about a week ago. Also, for lower lvl gear, anything under lvl 45 with a decent primary stat will start shooting up in price. This is because (I believe) Reduce lvl requirement maxes at 15 and most items with this are lvl 60, meaning anything under 45 with a decent roll is that much harder to find. |

Since 12/26, I've sold 10 Natalya's Reflection rings. All bought for 1 to 3 mil and all sold on the RMAH for $1.50 to $4.00 (before bliz cut). Converting to gold pulls back a nice profit.
@Mehsiah had asked a rundown on how flipping/arbitrage works. The strategy is quite simple (I'll keep it generic and assuming that gold is at $0.27/million): 1) Buy a Nat's ring for 2 mil 2) Sell same ring for $2. 3) Blizzard takes cut of $1 leaving you with $1. 4) Convert the $1 profit to gold (you will actually need $1.08 in RMAH funds to do this because you need to spend $1 on gold and at the exchange rate of $0.27/million, your request for 3 million gold will not go above $1). 5) Relish in 1 mil profit for doing nothing. 6) Rinse and repeat. The above example is extremely basic but you get the point. Price it higher and you may get a sizable profit. My $4 sale ($3 after bliz) netted me 9 million profit (11 million gross - 2 million for the initial investment). If you spend less on the ring, like say 500k, go ahead and price it at $1.54. That converts to 2 million gold after blizzards cut. You can go further and just price it at $1.27 for 1 million gold conversion if you want to undercut everyone. Hope this helps! |

@ninjax
Glad to help! I know how it is to be muling a lot. 2 full mules and 3 full stash tabs here, lol. On another note for those that are interested, the cap seems to be higher than 15 lvls reduced. I found a weapon today with lvl requirements reduced by 18. :P |

Highest possible lvl red is 18. Have a look here Highest possible stats. You find it in "Adventure Stats" |

@h311o & @ZRyoku16: You guys beat me to it--I was going to say the max reduced level requirement is at least 18, cause I'd found a pair of Immortal King's Stride boots w/ Reduced Level 18 requirement last month. Even created a thread to find out how to price it here: http://www.d3rmt.com/forums/thread/1112/
I know how you feel: I've got eight full mules & three almost full stash tabs...! :-0 |

Anyone else noted a slow down in sales of level reduction gear?
I have some nice level reduction weapons that I'm not really keen to keep knocking down on price, rather hold out till patch when there'll more likely be a pick up in players |

Maybe it's just ebbs and flows as I've sold alot of items in the GAH in the last 48 hours after a really quiet 5-6 days & 1 was a level 9 reduction belt. Nothing RMAH however.

Hehe. Many of us are already doing it. You're not going to get flamed for that. In fact, this is what we want: more ideas to facilitate out of the box thinking for profit. |

I have a short list of legendaries/set items that I look at often. It doesn't take too long and the payout can be relatively substantial (I think I've made 100M+ flipping 7 or 8 items). The caveats being that you probably need 50-100M at least just to buy a few items and you've really gotta make sure your purchase is a "good deal". That being said, I look at the properties that make an item valuable (because it doesn't naturally roll that stat) and of course, I look at its value, primary stat values, other stats, etc.
Zunimassa's Vision - CC Zunimassa's Trail - AR Zunimassa's Pox - AS, CC Witching Hour - AR, Vit Inna's Temperance - Dex, Vit Natalya's Reflection - CC, CD Tal Rasha's Relentless Pursuit - AR, Life% Immortal King's Irons - AS, CD Lacuni Prowlers - CC, AR Vile Ward - Vit, Life% Tal Rasha's Allegiance - AS, CC It's really a high risk, high reward type of flipping. I've made 50M+ on items nearly instantly, but I've also lost 20M+ buying poor deals and being unable to sell them. Whatever your bankroll can take is what you should try to flip. I had a list of price points for various stat levels, but it was too complicated. I just look at the item with those stats and look at anything else it might have. If it "passes the eye test", I usually buy. I also usually just look at 1d11h items. Not all 1d11h items are deals (be careful, some people relist horrendous deals repeatedly), but I just go with common sense that a crazy deal would get jumped on IMMEDIATELY. I've seen a few 1d11h items that were crazy deals, tried to buy immediately, and then was hit with "That item is no longer available". |

I was flipping Natalya's Reflection and my softcore gold jump from 2.8 millions to 76 millions without playing.
With PvP coming, maybe reduced crowd control could be valuable. |

To the zuni pox rings add any ring at 180+ int if you can buy for 12M or less on GAH. Those will sell within hours at $6.89 and if you want to hold out for more you can do so as we've seen guys flipping those at $15+.
@MrFox - welcome to the club - thanks for the feedback as we're always looking to get more info and help diversify. I started flipping the zuni pox rings about 2 months ago and a few others have joined in - now we got about 5 people flipping rings and posting in this and a few other threads or sending private messages when we see a smoking deal if we can't take advantage of it - give it to one of our brethren on d3rmt. Thanks again for the feedback !!!! |

This is probably a common method, but i've made a lot of gold doing it. I like to search level 60 rare armor sorting by time left, and going to around page 4. I only look for items that have already been bid up (max bid above starting bid) and bid on the item if it seems like a good deal. After searching for similar items, I typically price to earn 1 to 2 million profit off each item. I can fill up my ten auctions pretty quickly with this method and it's surprisingly low risk since you're only paying what others have already bid the item up to.

What a great strategy! Anyone not having luck with the auction house needs to start doing this. It works at any iLVL, on any budget, and with any item, including legendaries. You safeguard on the three things you need to: demand (bids), price (no buyout, which can easily mislead) and opportunity (only someone online looking at the same items can buy, so not too much competition). Then take advantage of the impatient who won't ever bid, ie: me, and profit. |
