Diablo III Season 12 is now live in all gameplay regions! To create a Seasonal hero, choose your class, gender, and name as usual, then select the "Seasonal Hero" option.Â

Alternatively, you can use the Season Rebirth feature to continue your adventures on an existing character by starting over this Season. You can select a character for Rebirth on the Hero Selection screen. Simply choose the "Rebirth" option to begin your next adventure!Â

Any of the gear or items equipped on your character or in your inventory will be automatically stripped from the hero and mailed to your non-Seasonal characters, similar to the rollover process that occurs with your stash when a Season ends. In addition, your character will be set to level 1, ready to start the process as though they were freshly created!
For more details on the Season Rebirth feature, be sure to check out our original blog here.
Seasons are an optional, recurring game mode that offers players the opportunity to periodically start fresh, leveling new Normal or Hardcore heroes from level 1 without any currency, resources, items, or previously earned Paragon experience. Similar to the separation between Normal and Hardcore game modes, Seasonal heroes will also have their own shared stash and Artisan progression. Any currency, materials, recipes, items, Paragon experience, and Artisan progression earned during a Season will be rolled over to a player's non-Seasonal profile once the Season concludes.

Season 12 will offer unique rewards and new challenges for players, including new cosmetic items, pieces of an exclusive transmogrification set only available to those who participate in Seasons, and Season-only achievements or challenges called Conquests. Progress within a given Season will also be tracked on the Leaderboard system, and in the Seasons Journey interface.

New Balance Changes
Patch 2.6.1 brought updates for class sets, Legendary items, and skills. Whether youâre eager to explore an old standby build or just play around with your current favorite, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the game. Season 12 is the perfect time to dive in and start freshâso grab a friend and get ready to play!
New Cosmetic Rewards
As per tradition, Season 12 will introduce new cosmetic rewards, obtainable by progressing through the Season Journey.
In addition to the Chest and Gloves slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, a brand-new series of portraits themed around the High Heavens will be available. Those who enjoy collecting cosmetic wings will also be pleased to see a new arrivalâFiacla-GĂ©ar, which gives your character a distinctly angelic look.

Season Journey Rewards
If youâve been playing the past few Seasons diligently and reached Conqueror in the Season Journey each time, youâve accrued a few extra stash tabs. Players who have not yet earned a total of four stash tabs via the Season Journey can still unlock an additional one by completing the following tasks at the Conqueror tier:
Seasonal Conquests
Speaking of Conquests, weâre rotating those, too! Love going fast while killing things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart will be making a return. On A Good Day and I Canât Stop are also available, if leveling Legendary Gems is more your thing. If youâd rather max out your kill count with Cursed Chests, Curses! and Stars Align will be right up your alley. Those who enjoy seeing how far they can go without Set Items will get a kick out of The Thrill and Super Human. Finally, if youâre keen to show off your mastery of various Class Sets, Years of War and Dynasty will be available for you to attempt once more.

Haedrigâs Gift
Finally, just as before, youâll get a shiny new Class Set courtesy of Haedrigâs Gift for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey. Weâve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, hereâs how it works:
Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three Haedrigâs Gifts. Each Gift contains a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!
The set you will receive depends on the Class of the character youâre playing when you open each Haedrigâs Gift. To collect a full Class Set, youâll need to open all three on the same character.
Here are the sets granted by Haedrigâs Gift in Season 12:
